Bred by Ace Hooper of Plainview, Texas, TOP HAT H. founded a family of horses with winners in halter, performance, and racing. Foaled in 1956, TOP HAT H. is by RED SENOR and out of LITTLE STAR H.

He was the sire of six National Champions, one bronze medallion winner, and several track record holders. TOP HAT H. placed third in Aged Stallions at the 1962 National Show in Springfield, Ill. He sired 214 registered foals with a total of 68 performance and five halter points.
