SUNDANCE was bred by Phil Jenkins of Northern Colorado. Foaled in 1933, SUNDANCE was by DAYLIGHT and out of CHICO. 

 He antedated the registry and was a popular sire. A participant in the U.S. Government's remount program, SUNDANCE founded one of the more well-known leopard color families. Many of the leopard lines today may still be traced to him.
