Red Eagle 

RED EAGLE was breed by the ApHC's founder, Claude Thompson in Oregon, and co-owned by Thomas Clay. Foaled in 1946, RED EAGLE is by FERRA (AR) and out of PAINTER'S MARVEL.

 He was a charismatic horse, and was the first National Champion Halter Horse. RED EAGLE's National Champion titles include Get-of-Sire and Aged Stallions, both in 1957. He greatly influenced West Coast activities during the 1940s and 1950s. RED EAGLE sired 74 registered foals and passed away in 1971.
