- Sired by PRINCE'S JIM, a few-spot son of PRINCE PLAUDIT, and out of
BARRETTA BRIGHT a MIGHTY BRIGHT daughter, PRINCE SHANNON entered the world
with the advantage of carrying two of the best bloodlines in the Appaloosa
breed.
- The 1974 stallion earned a Reserve National Yearling Halter title,
as well as a Junior Championship at the Grand National Show at the Cow
Palace.

- The heavily-muscled leopard established his presence further as
a World and National Champion sire. Among his get are 32 Register of Merit
earners and 10 medallion winners, including halter and performance champions.
- Despite his death of lymphoma in October 1992, PRINCE SHANNON continues
to be a strong presence on the list of leading Appaloosa sires.
