1986 Hall of Fame Horse

PATCHY

PATCHY was bred in the ApHC's first year, and became known as the "picture horse" because of his vivid color and correct conformation. Foaled in 1939, PATCHYis by PATCHES and out of MISS ROSALIA (JC) by Ponce de Leon. The Champion Stallion at the first National show, PATCHY was bred by Herbert Camp, owned by Don Imboden and Ben Johnson, and passed away in 1963.
