Jack Hennig

Named 1995 trainer of the year, Jack Hennig of Zolfo Springs, Florida, has been a judge for more than 32 years.  Jack has served as a board member of the Florida Appaloosa Horse Club, the Central Appaloosa Horse Club and was a founding committee member of the Florida Orange Blossom Circuit.  In 1964, while training with Sam Chastain, he took stallion, High Time to a World championship.  Together, Jack and High Sign have shared more than 50 National and World titles; 29 bronze medallions in events ranging from working cow horse, timed calf roping and judged calf roping to senior reining; seven Registers of Merit and two National Reining Horse Association bronze trophies. After finishing in second place for the coveted NRHA bronze four times, High Sign won his first in 1988 at the age of 16 and his second in 1989. In addition, both with High Sign and other mounts, Jack has earned numerous National and World championships, three National Reining Horse Association bronze trophies and won the All American Quarter Horse Congress Open Roping Classic.
