Hank Weiscamp

Hank Wiescamp, of Almosa, Colorado, bred Appaloosas for some 27 years.  His influence reaches deep into the breed's roots and far into its future.  He matched his Appaloosa stallion with Peavy Bimbo daughters to produce some of the breed’s legends, including Prince Plaudit, Sir Plaudit, King Plaudit, Major Plaudit and Royal Plaudit.  Such well respected sires as Mr. Mystique, Skip Bright, Sting of Stars and Rock Star can trace their pedigrees back to Wiescamp bred horses as well.  The depth of consistent quality Wiescamp is known for from before Price Plaudit to today is legendary.
