Harry Reed

Reed was introduced to Appaloosas in 1949 and established himself as a skilled horseman, managing some of the breed’s most influential sires.  Working for Cecil Dobbin in the late 1950s, Reed developed, then-untested and now-legendary, stallion Bight Eyes Brother, and from there working with ApHC greats Top Hat H and Prince Plaudit.  Garnering the industry’s long-standing respect, Reed’s influence on the breed will be felt far into the future.
