Elroy Zoglman

Appaloosa Horse Club records show that Elroy Zoglman has bred and owned Appaloosas since 1964. He attended his first World Wide Futurity in 1966 at which time he was co-owner of Zero Hancock, the first Appaloosa mare to win the World Wide.

Elroy trained World Wide Futurity winner Native Splash in 1983 and followed in 1984 with Tom Mixer. He has run more seconds in that race than any other trainer. Elroy trained horses for well-known racehorse owners such as Bar T Ranch, Kalyn Butler, Roy Daily, Keith Dalborn, Larry Grenz, Bob Hickman, Gary Hopkins, Gene Miles, Orren Mixer, Tom Morris, W. E. Mueller, Steve Neal, Julie Nesler, Kay and Kin Pirtle, Michael Scanson, Greg Simon and Ronald Smith.
Elroy’s equine clientele consisted of champions, medallion winners, stakes winners and regional champions, many of which are now producers of champions. Bits Bit Of Class, Can’t Slow Down, Comin’ Easy, Easy We Go, Geneo JJ, Go Easy Lovin’, Go Kloud Pacer, Joker Bars, Scooter Bug G., Scootin Easy, She Bear Chigger, Straw Bug, Trash O Matic, Victory Dust and We Go Easy are but a few of the horses he has conditioned during his career.
