Fort Collins, Colorado, Veterinarian, Dr. John White Jr. has been involved
with Appaloosa horses for 42 years, making his greatest impact on the racing
front. His program has resulted in 25 stakes horses (13 of which were the
result of Appaloosa-to-Appaloosa breeding), including 17
stakes
winners. White has been the owner
or breeder of winners like Jac To A King, Jac’s Or Better, Heavenly Shades,
Bold Don, Won A Queen, Making Ends Meet and Too Much Candy, and producers like
Paper Roses, Merrigo, Burn’Em Up and Pristine Rose.
A past president of the Colorado Appaloosa Racing Association and the
Western Regional Appaloosa Racing Council, White has also been actively
involved with the Appaloosa Horse Club’s Executive Race Committee.
