Since the early 1970s, David Nemlka’s influence on the breed has been felt on and off the racetrack.  As a leading Appaloosa race horse owner and breeder, he campaigned such racing greats as Double Sudden, Spotted Sacajewea, No More Tears and Mama T.  He’s worked tirelessly as a racing activist, served on the ApHC Board of Directors, and helped establish the ApHC Hall of Fame and expand the ApHC medallion program.
