Considered to be ahead of his time with ideas on marketing and promoting horses, Miles was a tireless promoter in the 1950s and 1960s of such hoses as Prince Plaudit and Joker B.  Both horses have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and are two of the breeds greatest sires.  Miles helped produce the National Show when it was held in Texas and was a board member for several years.
